Meeting Information
All meetings are held at AmVets Post 89 at 3535 Westerville Road, Columbus,
Ohio. Any time severe weather is a factor, call Post 89 at 614-475-9007 to see
if it’s open. If the Post is closed or about to be closed we will not meet.

If you would like to attend a meeting but do not have transportation, please
feel free to call a Detachment officer for assistance. We will do our best to help
you.
MCL Uniform Issues
Since last year's MCL National Convention a great controversy has
arisen over our uniform.  To clear the air, Ohio's Chosin Reservoir
Detachment 986 has prepared the Uniform Code For Dummies.  Many
will benefit from a review of this document.
Reshaping America's Expeditionary Force in Readiness
On March 14 the Marine Corps released this document to promote
understanding and start implementing the new Force in Readiness
recommendations.  Click here to read the findings.

of Navy Marine Post 276 of the American Legion.

A new Young Marines group is being formed in Columbus.  In October 2011 the Young Marines of
